MAJOR REWRITE OF STORY WHICH GOES IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIRECTION
(please bare with me as I update the chapters and hopefully eventually complete this work)The Hale fire and hunters rip Derek and Peter Hale away from their lives as well as their childhood best friends. (Stiles and Scott)
Derek's mother, explains to them, "I am so sorry you two but this is an emergency. There is no time for good-byes."
Derek's uncle Peter was separated from Derek when he was taken with Laura and her fiance' Liam.
All three stayed behind to manage the family businesses, the Hale territory as well as the Wolf Preserve.
The rest of the Hale family eventually moves back and Derek is finishing his junior year in High school. -

Derek loves his sister very much and is looking forward to seeing her since they haven't seen each other in a while. However, he's not thrilled that she is bringing home her new boyfriend - someone they know zero about. He will be nice but what he didn't expect was how attractive he would be.
Stiles will do anything for Laura. She's his best friend and like an older sister to him. However, this has to be the worst idea she has ever had - pretending to date one another? No one will believe it and it becomes increasingly harder to play the part when he meets her gorgeous brother.
Or two idiots slowly falling in love with each other with Laura playing a hand in it.

“That was pretty convincing,” Stiles manages to say after a moment, though it comes out a little more breathless than he’d intended. A small, slightly predatory smile starts to spread across Derek’s face and Stiles is definitely getting a hard-on in a parking lot, oh god. “How soon can we do that dinner exactly?”
“I can do tonight?”
“Any sooner than that?” Derek huffs out a laugh.

Derek’s eyebrows twist in confusion and he’s fairly certain he doesn’t want to know what sorts of plans she has in mind. “Just let me handle it, alright? I can do it.”
Laura gets up from her chair and comes around to his side of the table to ruffle his hair. “Never be afraid of asking for help, Der. You have a big sister for a reason.” She steals a sip of his Coke before heading upstairs to her room.
Not for the first time that night, Derek presses his face into his arms and groans.
