Despite her continued service to the Horde, Jiari has become a target, both for the ambitious Krom'gar and for the Forsaken, who desperately want to learn what makes her tick.
Distraught after the death of her protector and mentor, Jiari makes a rash decision and is separated from her newlywed husband Soran. She finds herself trapped in an Alliance outpost, and must decide whether to help an unlikely new friend or abandon them to the mercies of the Burning Blade.

She disguises herself as a blood elf and infiltrates Thandor Fortress, hoping to discover how Overlord Thandor and his officers can train so many champions so quickly. Summary
After temporal meddling by the infinite dragonflight, Krom'gar Fortress in the Stonetalon Mountains became Thandor Fortress, and one of its champions—Jiari, an undead rogue—found herself alive and breathing again. After her betrayal by Krom'gar, Jiari was subjected to cruel experiments by the Forsaken and finally freed when her husband Soran joined forces with a draenei named Meleen and the bronze dragon Chromie, who took them into the recent past to hide. While Jiari recovered, Meleen disguised herself as a blood elf and sought training in Thandor Fortress, hoping to grow strong enough to prevent the coming apocalypse.
Now Meleen has been uncovered, but Soran and Jiari are busy with problems of their own in Tirisfal. Meanwhile Idrona, a former friend of both, finds those friendships pitted against her allegiance to Krom'gar and the Horde. Will she resist the temptation to sacrifice those she once would have given her life for in exchange for power and glory? Or will events which neither Jiari nor Meleen are aware of send their plan to heal the broken timeline spiraling into oblivion?

Summary
After temporal meddling by the infinite dragonflight, Krom'gar Fortress in the Stonetalon Mountains became Thandor Fortress, and one of its champions—Jiari, an undead rogue—found herself alive and breathing again. Though she remained loyal to the Horde, Jiari was eventually chased from Thandor Fortress by the malicious General (now Overlord) Krom'gar, then betrayed by the Alliance among whom she took refuge, and finally experimented upon by the jealous Forsaken.
Now Jiari is free, and has become aware of the catastrophic alteration to the timeline, but the memory of her betrayal and torment at the hands of Horde and Alliance alike has left her traumatized, unable to join the battle where she is most needed. Can an unlikely friend help the former undead master her fears and save the defenders of Nijel's Point in time to avert the end of the world? Or will this fledgling union between Horde, Alliance, and the bronze dragonflight be crushed beneath the combined might of Krom'gar's army and the Burning Blade?
