Summary
Marinette decides that she should rely more on heroes who had not been compromised, because there may come a time when the battle will depend on those whose identities remained unknown to Shadow Moth. This leads Ladybug to again give Adrien Agreste the Snake Miraculous. When he hesitates, she interprets this as nervousness and agrees to train him. Tikki convinces Marinette to use a different Miraculous, making her belief that Ladybug's presence is intimidating to him, another reason for his failure with the Snake Miraculous during his first time as Aspik. Marinette agrees and chooses a familiar Miraculous to wear for her training with Adri-Aspik.
During the training, Shadow Moth, of course, sends an akuma to terrorize Paris. Multimouse and Aspik stand atop the Arc de Triomphe and watch as the akuma leaves a trail of damage in each wake. They both wait for the two heroes that won't be coming to save the day.
