Pure Vanilla Cookie goes back in time to save the five Beast Cookies (most importantly Shadow Milk) from falling to the weight of their own powers, only to mess up all timelines relative to this one. Casting such a massive spell and pushing his limits far beyond their breaking point causes him to corrupt his own Soul Jam, falling to his own power in a much different way as he gradually transforms into something more as he desperately tries to convince the Beast Cookies that it gets better. At the point of oblivion—much to the dismay of the all-seeing Witches—he realizes that he can create his own way to fix what was broken for good.
