    Hemlock turned in her seat to find a Vulcan now at the door behind her. Tall, lean, extremely beautiful in that distant, moon-ish way Vulcans tended to be. Hemlock does not reply -what was there to say really-, but she does stand up and that seems to be all the cool and commanding Vulcan woman needed.

    “This way.”

    She turns back through the door and disappears, and Hemlock does not follow immediately. Instead she glances to the doors to the streets outside, thinks about running out of them and away from this mess, but how far could she get in three months?

    That’s all Hemlock had left. Three fucking months to live if she didn't knock boots by the time her biological clock ticked down.

    Or: The Pon Farr Fic no one asked for, now including Ambassador Spock who can't keep his hands to himself, an at her wits-end Hemlock, and a strawberry patch in the Shival Flats of Vulcan.
