Summary
In an attempt to break up a ring of human traffickers known as The Long Leash, Ezekiel Price goes undercover as an Owner to try to get close to the head of the ring and shut it down. Along the way, he picks up broken Assets and tries to rehabilitate them, without blowing his cover.
Zeke picks up his first asset, a combat-trained operative called Zero, who's finished with killing. Zeke struggles to turn this former-killer into a sensual lover, while also trying to adjust to his role as an Owner.

Summary
When the Count had found him so long ago, blood marring his face and vaguely conscious, Conviction hadn’t the gall nor strength to so much as object. Perhaps it was the dried blood that sealed his lips, the ache of lacerations gouged into frostbitten flesh, or maybe it was the sheer delirium that was cast upon the dying by their own minds. The bodily equivalent of a shock blanket, an unspoken solace as if to will itself to die faster in moderate comfort so to not feel the gnaw of the snow. Stonebell was an unkind mistress. It was to her (that is to say, the rigid climate of such a city) dismay that Conviction’s will to live had made him a miserable sight for eyes to see – would it not be better to rot into the Earth and be done with it? To cease an eyesore?
It blurs. All that Conviction remembers is how he ragdolled, slung into his arms as if he were nothing more than a broken toy. Malleable to the Count’s touch, forever at his mercy if he so chose it.
There is no leap nor bound in which Conviction would stop at to support the Count. For what it was worth, his lordship was equally aware of that fact, too.
