Incidentally, this story happens a bit differently than what happens in the game, so you could say this is an alternate canon.
This story is dedicated to Mmogurl, one of my favourite video content creators, who is one of my favourite fanfiction writers and authors, also. She and Baldur's Gate 3 inspired me to write this story.
