Summary

Miyuki cannot say he’s that familiar with the concept of running away from one's feelings.
Running away implied he acknowledged they exist and therefore is not interested in accepting them, so you’re constantly purposefully avoiding them. Meaning that those feelings are constantly looming over you in the lookout of a sign of weakness or distraction and attack when you least expect it.
But that doesn't happen to him. Miyuki is not like that.

BREAKING NEWS: Yakult Swallows shortstop Kuramochi Yoichi (27) and Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Sawamura Eijun (26) found dead following suspected hit-and-run collision on icy road
After waking up in his childhood bedroom, Mochi travels to Nagano to look after his best friend. Who he meets there is definitely not who he expected.
A little girl with pigtails blinked at him. Her eyes were wide, curious, unafraid.
“…Mochi?” the girl asked, voice tentative.
“Eijun?” Kuramochi whispered, disbelief thick in his throat.
The girl nodded once, slowly. Both froze for a moment, staring at each other, time suspended between recognition and wonder.“What the hell happened?” Eijun’s voice was low, more serious than usual.
Kuramochi shrugged, letting the ball roll idly in his palms before tossing it back to Eijun. “I… don’t really know,” he admitted.
“Well, at least you’re normal. A boy. Meanwhile… I somehow got turned into a girl.” Eijun shook his head, muttering under his breath. -

Sawamura Eijun makes his way to the MLB at 21! His first game was a success and the team decides to celebrate their victory in this new club downtown.
"NEW MIAMI MARLINS BATTERY FALLS VICTIM TO GANG RELATED DRIVE-BY SHOOTING IN DOWNTOWN MIAMI. CATCHER DIED ON SPOT, PITCHER IN COMA".
Eijun feels his head spinning, he has always been a light weight at drinking but the bright light is new.
"If you could let them all know what you are capable of and that you are worth the extra mile, would you do it?" a child-like voice asks. "Of course, I'm the ACE!" Eijun answers oblivious to his situation. "Very well, I'm looking forward to your story" the voice says again. "Huh? Who are you?" Eijun asks now. "You may call me Kami. I'll grant you a second chance, make the best out of it." the voice snickers. "Huh?"
Sawamura Eijun died at 21 years old, only few days after being put into coma. He wakes up at 9 years old. 'Make the best out of it' he swears to himself.

They go right into playing another song. Aotsuki starts off singing this song, but Kazuya can’t take his eyes off of Sawamura. He was being stupid thinking his feelings were just from playing baseball with Sawamura. No, Kazuya fell in love with Sawamura’s personality, his energy, his determination. Baseball may have introduced him to all of that, but Kazuya fell in love with Sawamura for everything that he is. Kazuya was in love with Sawamura the pitcher, he is in love with Sawamura the rockstar, and he would still be in love with Sawamura if he became something else. Kazuya is pretty sure he’ll never love someone the way he loves Sawamura Eijun.
