Actually I didn't remember she wanted to be a warden in the book except when I reread the book summary. o-o
Anyways another warder-to-be arrives from another library and subsequently disappears with one of the most dangerous books in the library.
With the director out of commission, Elisabeth needs to apprehend her friend herself to prevent the director from taking the blame and try to unearth the deeper machinations behind even more incidents of magical destruction.
