Summary
La Llorona is basically a figure from Hispanic American folklore. Many versions of her story can be found. I chose the one where she is Maria, wife to a cheating husband. When she discovers his affair, she, out of jealousy, drowns her children and immediately regrets it. She drowns herself, too, but is cursed to stay on earth and search for them. This is my first work here which I initially wrote for a prompt assigned by my mentor. The narrator is the character herself. It is from her perspective so her emotions can be understood. Please note that all backgrounds are hypothetical. I wrote this in a hurry.

Morro watches as his new ‘master’ terrorizes Ninjago, leaving nothing but death and destruction at his wake. But when his master promises to kill Lloyd, Morro watches as assassin's bring back the wrong Green Ninja.

Summary
‘Cole felt like he was dreaming, walking through a thick haze, senses dulled to a deafening numbness. He couldn't feel anything. He saw leaves rustling, but he couldn't feel the breeze. He could barely feel the ground under his feet.’
I was blown away by the love I received for my recent angsty ball of Ninjago fanfiction; Just Breathe. So I wrote another one, this time focused on Cole’s time as a ghost. While Cole takes centre stage, there is plenty of Lloyd/Morro angst and Jay/Nya/Nadakhan angst mixed in.
The fic spans from the start of S5 until post S7. It is canon compliant, but focusing on the times in between. S6 in particular is treated from the team’s perspective, so skipped over completely (although the events are eventually discussed).
TW: There is violence, but it is only slightly worse than what you would expect in canon. There is discussions of rape. The rape itself isn’t graphically described, but it comes up multiple times. I will put an author’s note at the start of each chapter that is relevant. -

Two weeks after Thunderfang and the chaos storm, Jay has been living with them at the Monastery. Living might be a strong word. Since all he does is either play video games or try to ignore everyone else at the Monastery.
Nya doesn't care though, she has Jay back. After so many years they finally found him and brought him back to his home, his family.

Nya and the Ninja have finally brought Jay back home, but he isn't the same person he used to be. But they can fix him, get him to remember who he is, and get their friend back, right?
