The quiet, nearly silent name pulled Hanzo from a dead sleep, blinking his bleary eyes open to find his stepdaughter standing in front of him, her little hand on his shoulder to gently alert him of her presence.
“Posy?” He asked, holding back a yawn. “What are you doing awake?” Hanzo moved to roll into his side from his stomach, propping himself up on one arm.
“I was getting water when I saw Daddy sitting outside with the guitar.” A quick glance over his shoulder confirmed it, Cole nowhere to be seen in their bed.
Hanzo sat up, quickly moving to tie his hair up with the hair tie on the nightstand. “I will check on him, but first; let us get you back to bed.” Posy looked hesitant but nodded, holding her hand out as Hanzo stood. -

My best friend and I role-played this idea because we both love Outlander, (Outlander is an amazing show). I wrote this so I can take a break from my other fanfic, and since spooky month is coming up why not have dress up Hanzo in Victorian gowns (I'm a huge sucker for gowns like that). Plus young Hanzo does look like a girl sometimes lol. And also! Hanzo has both parts of male and female because biology who?

The Recall offered Cole a kind of peace he hadn't felt since before leaving Blackwatch all those years ago. A roof over his head, a real bed to sleep in, food, friends - everything a cowboy could ever ask for. Of course the peace wouldn't last. When Genji introduces his brother as a new member of Overwatch, Cassidy is forced to balance the close relationship he has with Genji to the hatred he has toward his brother. While navigating the tension and violence that rises up with Hanzo, the man also makes Cole confront the actions of his past and the feelings of guilt and self-loathing he's been carrying with him most of his life. The man who he hated most in the world becomes a confidant and a guide as Cassidy travels back to places he swore he would never see again, begins to move on, and find those who he believed to be lost.

Summary
Sojiro, Hanzo and Genji's father, is nearing the end of his life. He wishes for his sons (at least Hanzo) to inherit his wealth and power, but his closest and most trusted advisor believes neither boy is fit to lead the Shimada Clan. Against their protests, Hanzo and Genji are sent on a ship to San Francisco, where they will meet and train with a man more "trusted" than Asa Yamagami. Their boat never reaches California, as it is destroyed in an explosion somewhere in the Pacific.
Hanzo finds himself waking up on the shores of an unfamiliar country, forced to navigate a town full of people who speak neither Japanese or English--all while Genji is probably actively dying of bloodloss or traumatic brain injury. Lucky for them both, a kind old woman approaches them and insists they let her help. All Hanzo can gather is she's some sort of doctor, and she bares the name (surname?) "Cassidy." Hmm.
