Lindsey stepped into the cool corridor, the polished floors reflecting the sterile fluorescent lights above him. Each footfall echoed with the enormity of his decision, a fractured rhythm that punctuated the turmoil swirling in his mind. Could it truly be that the Senior Partners turned the page so easily, like an unremarkable chapter in a much larger, nefarious tome? He scoffed at the idea, knowing full well the darkness that twisted at the soul of Wolfram & Hart. Their kindness was a carefully crafted illusion, a deadly mirage.
The story takes place a few days after blind date, Episode 21, season 1. Lindsey's get a promotion that he knows is to good to be true, but no one is coming to rescue him. Out of spite, Holland Manners gives Lindsey to a demon as a plaything, then drops his naked and nearly lifeless body on Angel's doorstep.

Summary
Faith Lehane, the Dark Slayer, wakes up with amnesia in a world vastly different from her memories of 1999. She's faced with three major problems:
1) Everyone believes she's Buffy Summers, despite Faith being in her own damn fine body.
2) Attempts to reveal her true identity are blocked by a painful ringing in her head whenever Buffy's name is said.
3) Faith slept with Buffy's husband, Connor (who she now remembers is freakin' Angel's son!), who still thinks she's Buffy.
As more memories return, Faith struggles to make sense of this new world. She sets out to find some young Slayers who broke curfew at SlaySafe when she's confronted by a familiar looking vampire who gives her new information that makes her think this future isn't all that it seems to be.
