Summary
Two years ago Arthas Menethil was slain on the fields of Quel'thalas, defeated by the armies of Sylvanas Windrunner - and her undead mother, Lireesa Windrunner. With Quel'thalas cut off from the rest of the world, Lireesa has become Regent of the kingdom and married her daughter to the last Sunstrider in the realm - the young Lyandra. Meanwhile, on Quel'danas and in Dalaran the King Anasterian and Prince Kael'thas plan to retake their rightful throne.
