Maiev Shadowsong has made a lot of mistakes in her long life...not least of which was falling madly in love with Illidan Stormrage, the man who hated her--and the man she killed. So when Maiev is given the quest to resurrect Illidan during the events of Legion, Maiev doesn't know if she can save his soul from oblivion...or learn how to live with him afterwards. This is a story about trauma and trust, and the capacity to forgive.
This fic is a sequel to my previous Illidan x Maiev story, Prey, and makes quite a few references to it. In *this* story, I'm going to attempt to follow some of the broad storylines from Legion, just rewritten to give Maiev and Illidan some desperately-needed character growth. They both deserve to have some good things happen to them, and I guess I'm foolish enough to attempt to do it.

A lot of Eona's relationship with Anduin Wrynn relied upon fantasy. The fact that they were in one at all was a secret that both of them guarded with their lives. Being a scout for the Horde didn't make her a perfect romantic candidate to the son of the Alliance king.
Anduin was a prince. He should be with a princess — or, better put, a princess that didn't have a psychotic father that had too many mana-jelly shots, vowed loyalty to the Burning Legion, and betrayed his entire planet.
Anduin didn't know that part yet. Eona wanted to ease him into it, but didn't exactly know how.

和亲友讨论了一下能接受的安迪黑化的路线，之前认为这篇文最好以麦黑拉郎为主，但因为补充的东西可能涉及到原创的难度，我现生有别的事忙，wedding没完结，再加上暴雪这水平也不值得我费更多心思打磨新的世界观，故换回吼安男女主角，联盟部落故事线为主。麦黑副cp。果然尽量写好一个故事还是以小见大最为恰当，以后少点追求宏大叙事。全员向互动，但cp向只有我在tag里指定的吼安和麦黑，如果涉及其他cp或者官配相关，也会在文前补充清楚。ky的跟你那厕品cp一起死。

The task to defeat the servants of the Burning Legion on Azeroth was fulfilled. With heavy casualties and many sacrifices, the last foothold of the demons was captured. The next task that the armies of Azeroth are faced with is even harder, they need to invade the homeworld of Burning Legion, Argus. They need to find the Army of Light, revived Xe'ra, and finally, face the most trusted servants of the Fallen Titan.
What would happen if the forces of Light would be torn from inside, what would happen if their commanders would be divided?
It seems that the next gathering of the leaders of the army of the Legionfall would decide whether they'd live or die.
