(Breath of the Wild) Link has had a lot of women interested in him. Mipha. Paya. Countless girls from villages and stables he’d pass by. Hylia, maybe even Princess Zelda. He’d help them. He’d share his courage. He’d make their friends. And yet, he was never interested in anything more than a friendship. And then some weird guy with a rabbit hood strolls in while Link is taking a much-needed break and disrupts a lot of things Link assumed about himself. Well, he's adaptable to change.

Link and Zelda have witnessed the end of the world as they knew it, and must now carve out a new existence in a Hyrule that has moved on without them. Despite the castle in ruins, the rigid structures imposed on them since birth linger. Are they truly free to make their own choices now? To follow their hearts, in place of destiny?

No one's quite sure what it is, but reports always described the pockets being centered around strange, colorful trees that seemed to pop up overnight. Those who live close to these pockets whispered of mysterious strangers walking through, only to disappear soon after the trees grow.

Summary
All things considered, Zelda's pregnancy has been going pretty well. She barely had any morning sickness, and her mood swings have been pretty mild, if she says so herself. In her second trimester now, she's showing, but not yet so big as for it to be unmanageable, and she's full of energy. But, maybe, she thinks, not nearly enough energy to deal with whatever is happening in her and Link's house in the new Castle Town right this moment. And she is not sure what exactly is happening: an entirely too elaborate Yiga assassination attempt complete with disguises of people long dead, or time travel. Knowing her life, either of these options is likely, as well as a hundred more she hasn't yet thought of.
“What the fuck,” she thinks.
“What the FUCK,” she says.

“Link, what is all this?”
Two shocked eyes met hers before settling with a soft gaze.
“Surprise!” He said playfully and grabbed her hand. “Just a special little breakfast just for you!”
Zelda wakes up one morning and assumes it to be a regular day, until Link reminds her that it’s been a full year without the Calamity.
