In the untamed lands west of Hyrule’s border lie the ruins of the once prosperous small town, Ordon. The bodies of its citizens, those hard-headed Ordonians courageous enough to stand together in resistance, lie dormant beneath its charred remains. Inexplicably missing from the cemetery of ashes are three individuals: the mayor’s daughter, the master gunsmith, and his son.
The Calamity Gang sweeps through the west like a dust storm, and no survivors emerge from its wake. Ordon was not its first victim, nor shall it be its last.

Paya’s been a member of the Yiga Clan for almost as long as she can remember. Now, the very mission she’s been training for nearly all her life is upon her- the Hero is awake, and she’s been sent to kill him.
But that’s easier said than done. After failing to assassinate him, Paya finds herself in a bizarre situation, simultaneously the Hero’s prisoner and his travelling companion. She’s waiting for an opportunity to kill him properly… or at least that’s what she tells herself. But against all odds, the two of them are growing closer- and Paya might have to face the possibility that the mission she’s been training for all her life isn’t what she wants to do.

Summary
The chain agree to crawl through a mega dungeon for some unknown artifact. They are still unsure of whom they can trust but can't deny that the challenges ahead sound fun! More importantly the chain will have to share their struggles and trauma and learn more about each other if they wish to go home. Deals were made along the way and how will those effect the future? And why had Hylia given Wild the Ancient hero's aspect in the first place? Who was this ancient hero? Hopefully they all survive long enough to find out.
This is an AU for 'Aspects of a Hero' by Tashacee because I can't get these scenes out of my head and now it's become much bigger then I ever imagined. I have changed the name of this work as I think it is big enough to deserve its own. This work was once called 'Au Aspects of a hero'.Series

“Which set?” she responded drily. “In all honesty, I’m doing great. Notts and Kotts are little angels, for the most part, and there don’t appear to be any health concerns for me or the new ones.”
Kass rubbed her belly, and the twins kicked him. “She should be able to avoid bedrest, which is good, since maternity leave alone is starting to drive her crazy from boredom.”
“Yes, well, I may have a solution for that,” Kaneli responded.
“How so?” Amali cautioned.
“Teba is the son of your mother’s younger sister, correct?”
She hummed. “Yes. Our mothers were very close and raised us together. Actually, my mother raised his, much like how I ended up adopting Teba.”
“Are you aware that your mother had an older brother?”
Kass and Amali stared at each other. “No…”

Summary
A year after he awoke, Link and Kass watch the sunset.
“And the Hero?”
“… no one knows what became of them,” Kass tells him gently, throat tight and heart heavy at the look of quiet, miserable resignation that crosses Link’s face. “There’s little to be found of a time that ceased to be. May Hylia cradle them close, regardless of their fate.”
They sit quietly for a minute. With a once-fallen hero at his side, the prayer tastes rather like ash. Kass sets his meal aside. He is inordinately grateful to have his friend, yet the knowledge of what befell him makes Kass undeniably bitter that the small Hylian has been thrust onto the battlefield once more. The Call of the Hero cannot be denied. That doesn’t mean it’s fair.Series

“It’s his eyes,” Teba said in a hushed voice as they landed on the large rock formation next to the Divine Beast. “They are much older than his appearance suggests.”
“Indeed my friend. I feel that our young Hero has many secrets.”

Or Kass has some interesting interactions with a strange teenager and comes to learn that the boy is none other than hero his teacher told him of. Worry for Link’s health and his own sanity ensue

The Kingdom of Hyrule celebrates it's 5 years of peace that has existed between now and the destruction of Calamity Ganon, thanks to the sealing powers of Princess Zelda and the Hero wielding the Sacred Blade, Link. Now, with Princess Zelda exalted as Queen, the races of Hyrule are rebuilding the kingdom, with Zelda slightly worried for the next time Calamity Ganon should rear his ugly head once more. However, when the leader of the Yiga Clan, a group of people hell bent on bringing back Calamity Ganon, then infiltrate the underbelly of Hyrule Castle, they disturb a grave where a 10,000 year old mummy awaited to be freed. Now, stuck in the past, the master sword broken, and unsure of how to get home, Zelda, Link, and Purah must find their way their time to stop the Ganon of the future from destroying the kingdom they worked so hard to save.
