It still stung a little, but wasn't unpleasant, so Lance reached up to touch the sore area. Feeling something weird, he pulled his hand back to see blood on his fingers.
Eyes widening, he inspected a bit further. There wasn't much, but enough to have an open wound. As he felt around, he could identify two, small holes...that's funny...it's almost as if...His train of thought stopped right there as he walked up to Keith and crouched down next to him.

A part of Dean died that day when he watched Castiel wade into that river. Now he's only left with regrets, and pain, and a momento that he holds onto for dear life.
No happy ending unfortunately, just how Dean's feeling after Cas is gone. A one shot for now, but you never know what the future holds.
Only using that major character death tag cause for all we know at this point, Cas is dead.

Honerva in canon chose a more thorough plan. This Honerva opted for a quicker one.
Shiro gets less than a day in his clones body before all hell breaks loose… Again. The Paladins are tired, they are vulnerable, and they have no idea how much time has passed. All Pidge knows is that Honerva found them, and now Keith is pinned to the floor in front of them nearly dead, and there's nothing any of them can do to stop it because Keiths memories render all of them unable to focus on the now before them.

Summary
Idling through space in their self-imposed night, the Black Lion is almost silent and almost still, but Keith can feel the hum of it in his bones, like breathing. Like his pulse.
Louder is the breathing across the narrow quarters in the Lion’s belly. The occasional sniff, the occasional cough, and the all too frequent sound of Shiro shifting and turning on the thin cot that’s the twin of Keith’s own. The sound of Shiro sleeping is conspicuous in its regularity, and right now it’s too irregular for him to be sleeping.
Keith isn’t one to comment. They’re in the same boat.
