Once upon a time, a human fell into the Underground. They killed as many monsters as they spared and disappeared through the Barrier, leaving the monsters with no hope of escaping and only their vengeance to fall back on. The Queen is exiled back to the Ruins, accompanied by her grieving friend hiding a secret from her. The Empress seeks revenge. Dr Alphys disappears into her lab and never returns.
Six years later Frisk returns to the Underground, haunted by dreams of the earth splitting in two and pillars of darkness.
