For them to be abducted on his watch, and even worse, subjected to human experimentation--he needed to save them. Now, sitting in a theatre watching Les Miserables begin, Lio didn't know what he was in for, but Galo could see what would come. It was unbelievably cruel, and yet not a shock. After all, Lio, who had grown up in the Wastes and had never known history or art, didn't know what was coming. He’d learned through experience, and was in for a brutal reminder.
