Meis seems to be perfectly put together. A bold fashion sense matched with dark makeup, long flowing navy hair, and a cold stoic personality that makes people keep their distance from him, but only one thing can break this cold aloof persona he built for himself…Gueira. Gueira is quite literally the opposite of Meis, an infectious stupidly cute smile that could make anyone swoon, it’s almost unfair how attractive he is…Meis certainly thinks so. The issue here is that Meis can’t seem to keep himself together whenever Gueira has the audacity to smile or wave at him like he wasn’t invisible and was truly worth looking at. So Meis attempts to grow closer to Gueira, but it doesn’t always come out as planned.

Leo Fotia couldn't remember anything. He had no idea who he was, where he was, or what was happening to him. All he knew was that he was in pain and wanted out. Meanwhile, his friends, a group of three queer, homeless, teenage punks, were in the same situation. But Galo Thymos remembered. Not how he got here, but everything else. He was the oldest and the one who was supposed to protect them all out on the streets. For them to be abducted on his watch, and even worse, subjected to human experimentation--he needed to save them. Especially because he desperately needed to tell Leo the burning words he was too stupid to admit before.

It’s a Tuesday when Lio realizes. A normal Tuesday. It shouldn’t take him as long as it does— not logically, because he has never been one to stick his head in the sand and bury ugly truths, but, well. It’s harder to be the stoic, wise leader when the war is over—over a year over—and the people are free. He’s no longer fighting with fists and flames, now, fighting against people who kill and torture and maim, but with words and bills, against paperwork, and bureaucracy, and where the fuck to put commas in official documents. When his flames are gone, and his voice is hoarse from shouting, and the adrenaline is faded, but there is still more to do, and the world is still far from fixed, and his people are still so damn far from free. When the days drag on, it gets harder to maintain that war-torn, war-forged mask, and it gets harder to stay objective. It gets harder to survive on a day-to-day basis, even without emotions battling inside him, and something growing in their midst.
OR:
Lio Fotia is pregnant. Lio wants the baby. He feels he cannot have the baby. 30K of me torturing my babe in a kind of character study ensues.

Galo’s mind is racing just as fast as his heart is beating, trying helplessly to figure out what on Earth is crouched above him, baring those sharp teeth at him, when it hits him.
A memory rises of Aina at the bar, drunkenly whispering about Heris and her work researching dark creatures that supposedly roam the nighttime streets of Promepolis and the surrounding desert. “They’re not cryptids, Galo!” She’d said, slapping his bicep. “I swear she’s found real supernatural beings out there! Vampires, or something!”
Vampire!AU in which Galo happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (or is it the right time?) and encounters Lio, a vampire with a stubborn streak that finds Galo alluring in more ways than one. They can't seem to stay away from one another, after that.

Gueira kicked off his shoes at the door, sock feet padding over to where Meis stood, washing the dishes. Meis felt his heart catch in his chest at the sight of Gueira in the fading sunlight. The orange lent itself to him, making him more bright and vibrant and warm than just the fire in his veins could manage.
“Gueira…” Meis breathed, awestruck.
“Yeah?” Gueira turned, his bright red eyes burning right through Meis.
Meis turned quickly, feeling his cheeks heat up. “…Gather up the laundry, we should probably wash that tomorrow, too.”

Galo liked to talk. A lot. In fact most of the time the people on his Late Night On-Call Fire Fighting team often told him to shut up. And yet, he found himself dreading the upcoming conversation that was about to have. While he may have been a firefighter by night, the job which was his dream, it didn’t quite make up his rent money. So his boyfriend Kray had gotten him a day time office job at his firm making Pharmaceutical Equipment.
