Summary
Hughie ends up having an small accident while meeting up with Starlight, an accident that involves the infamous Compound V. He told Annie he was fine but was he? Was the weird off feeling he was experiencing just his paranoia as he walked home or something else? Knowing it was better safe than sorry Hughie called the only other person he could think of to keep everything under wraps and keep an eye on him. Butcher. At the very least Hughie knows he can rely on him to call him a clumsy cunt… as if he needed reminding. And he’s more than a little surprised to see the rest of the gang there too.
Why did it also feel like Butcher might be Jealous somehow?

'Fine,' Izzy signed irritably. He rolled his eyes as he stalked towards the captains' quarters, Frenchie on his heels. Lucius stayed behind at the request of Bonnet, which should have raised a red flag, but Izzy brushed it off.
He immediately regretted his decision as he opened the door to see Ed waiting, nervously bouncing a leg. Izzy wanted to turn right around and leave, but a hand on the small of his back made him go unnaturally still, tensing down to his bones.
Ed surged up, "Stede, don't do that," Hid tone was low, but serious, "He doesn't like that." Izzy didn't even have it in him to be angry at the coddling, relaxing significantly as Bonnet removed his hand.

The thin red line that marks a jagged edge on Izzy's forehead is a mystery that's just too good to ignore. From where he sits, turned ever so slightly to the side, it’s very visible to Lucius’s curious eyes. Sure, the missing leg and haunted expression to match the rest of the Leather Crew from Ed's Kraken Era are interesting enough-if disturbing-but Lucius knows about those things.

Admittedly, nobody's really gotten Jim, Archie (who Lucius is a little intimidated by), Fang, Frenchie, or Izzy to talk about their time under Blackbeard's sole employment, but Lucius thinks he can imagine. Ivan is gone, to where nobody will tell him. When he’d asked, Fang had burst into tears."
Listen, I know this sounds super dramatic, but in truth it's pretty damn soft. I wrote it for my brain to take a break from being stressed, so hopefully it'll do that for yours, too.
