Summary
Running. That was all he could do right now. Kicking up the golden sands of Egypt and his body fighting the blazing heat in nothing but a lion cloth for protection. He couldn’t stop, that much he knew. Carrying his broken body and using what little magic he had to make this torturous journey to get to his desired location, and then nothing else would matter as long as he got there. Blurred eyes could make out a tall building made of gold stone, the statutes offered a welcoming sight and lifting his tired heart to make that final push. Oh, how he wished it wasn’t a mirage. Still clinging to the one goal he was dead set on making, pushing his exhausted muscles harder to reach his one salvation, the golden light that shines the brightest in his sea of shadows: Pharaoh Atem.
