Now that Raz is a Junior Agent he thinks he's ready for the big Psychonauts missions, but when Sasha gets him a place on the Pelican for a simple fact-finding mission, he finds himself pitched against the the Psychonauts' next world-threatening foe. Escaped convict Grinsmith Forrut "Hornblower" Horatio has perfected a fatal technique called the "Mind Bomb" with the goal of killing all non-psychics in the world. Even worse, when the mission goes south and the superstar special agents fall victim to his attacks, it'll be up to Raz to save the day again. Can he find Hornblower's detonation code before his human bombs go off? And will his mentors still be in one piece when it's all said and done?
Mostly a Raz and Sasha mentor story. Hurt/comfort for Raz emotionally, Sasha physically, Milla mentally. Oleander ego-lly I guess? It's hard to keep Oleander down. This one is going to be a long one and there's no update schedule so just be warned about that. Warnings and tags are accurate.

After a young Razputin Aquato, after it was found he was psychic and a naturally gifted hydrokinetic, is kidnapped by the deluginists after a show at his family's circus, they try for three years to mold him into becoming something truly powerful. Unfortunately, it worked too well. After being forced to attack the Psychonauts, they raid the compound where he was being held at, but he escaped. Knowing he can never return to his family because of the curse, and because he's know wanted by the organization he held in high regards, Razputin becomes the psychic criminal known as Riptide.

Watching him move – sometimes, it made Bobby think Raz didn't weigh anything at all. He made it look effortless. Like he was made of some other kind of thing than bones and blood, the same kind of matter as the stars swimming on the edge of Bobby’s vision as he staggered onwards. Raz ran and he moved and he flew, like gravity was nothing at all to him.
The blow had come out of nowhere. Bobby had just watched in dumb shock as Raz fell out of the air, and hit the ground hard, and didn't get up again.
An empty stairwell's not a great place to try and fix a dislocated shoulder, but sometimes you have to make do.
