Summary
(Divergence beginning from "Other Voices" Finale of Season 1) After the Maximals and Predacons are rounded up by the Vok, their long-term memory related to the Beast Wars is wiped violently and they are put in stasis until they are discovered and awakened in the year 2005: by Archaeologist Doctor Andrew Sairus, and his parter: Professor Matthias Faulton. The two humans do their best to help both factions through prosperity and tragedy as they discover themselves again, and turn over new leafs as they struggle to stay out of the modern-day Autobot and Decepticon war.

Maximal and Predacons each have a rich culture that goes all the way back to the Great War between Autobots and Decepticons. Even after thousands of generations have passed, they still don’t know each other all that well. Miscommunication and myths roam in between their ranks.
Rattrap has heard it before: CCC aka Con Claiming Culture. Most Maximals think it is a myth the porn industry thought of up for the pit of it. Primus knows how dirty and kinky mecha’s minds can get.
But Rattrap has infiltrated the other side. He knows the truth. He has observed it with his own optics. Doesn’t understand it one bit, but it remained a reminder for just how savage the Preds were.
He never thought he’d take a part in it. Then again, he could have never predicted the Beast Wars. -

Summary
The Oracle becomes compromised in the worst way possible. An ancient virus uploaded into Optimus Primal marks the beginning of an utter nightmare, and it threatens the very survival of Cybertron worse than Megatron’s totalitarian takeover. The five survivors who remain are forced to contend with their own mortality as a result… as well as the horde of undead Vehicons bent on tearing them asunder. Jetstorm is great for black comedy, at least.
“We’re all gonna die and then some,” says Rattrap, who might be right for once. It’s staying dead that’s the hard part.

Optimus has a new idea on how he can get his unruly second in command to start listening to him and following his orders. Prowl was just trying to do his job, was just keeping his head down when Optimus calls him into his office after everyone else has left again. This isn’t what Prowl wants, but he doesn’t have much of a choice anymore. His frame isn’t exactly his own any more either.
