Summary
Regulus Black's life is not his own. He is controlled by the powers that be, aka, his father. His father's chosen path for him is unavoidable, unpreventable and regrettably irresistible if Regulus wishes to keep his sanity. He has resigned himself to obey, abandoned all endeavours of academic achievement and believes that isolating himself is the only way to stay safe. After all, his brother cared so little for him that he saved himself, falling so willingly into the arms of blood traitors. Regulus has accepted his duty, his fate, that is, he had until a certain blood traitor begins to insert himself into Regulus' space, dolefully checking in on him, winding him up beyond all reason until Regulus cannot bear to ignore him a moment longer. But duty and fate have a way of catching up to a person and Regulus can't escape what is expected of him. As war approaches and sides are picked James and Regulus find themselves on opposite sides of the war and Regulus has to decide between expectation and devotion.

Hey! Sorry for not adding any chapter recently. My mental health has been at an all-time low, and writing was just too much. The chapters are going to be posted more sporadically, seeing as my mental health is still quite bad, but I will continue to post more chapters. It might take a few weeks, though.
I am challenging myself to write the darkest thing I can with the lighter moments weaved into it. And the reason why I'm doing that is I don't necessarily want to edit my book, so I am procrastinating by doing this instead. And yes, this is my best attempt to break these characters. This whole work will have some really dark themes, so please keep that in mind.

Regulus was never the most stable person he knew, and his relationship with Barty certainly had not helped things along in the stability department. Still, with the constant devolutoin with Sirius, his parents barking at his heels, and the Dark Lord's magic opressively strangling him to death every time the half blood came anywhere near him...Regulus felt that he could be forgiven for accidently dropping the illegally acquired Time Turner dust in the potion after he tried to stop his Brother's meddling once again...
He just got fucked in the end though...because now his parents are teenagers, he is stuck by himself, and honestly his mental state is definitely not the best. That Headmaster...Dippet something...did not even bother to screen him before just allowing him into the school to take classes, and now Regulus is being told Grindelwald is on the rist. As if Voldermort was not bad enough, now he just had to go landing himself in a damn timeline with more dark wizards!
