Reynie feels bad about messing with S.Q and only being his friend for different intentions, I mean Reynie should know better! He himself didn't have any friends until Mr. Benedict and this tests showed up, unless you count the cat from the orphanage that only really hung around him for pets and scratches, ok letting go of that thought before he finds any similarities. After all it's for the greater good right? S.Q. would totally do the same if the roles were reversed right? Maybe it's all and act and he's just like his father! Who am i kidding S.Q. is nothing like his father, he wouldn't mind if he knew I was trying to stop his evil dad from taking over the world would he? He'd understand? But why haven't I told anyone in the society about this recent development?
Or, Reynie and S.Q. plan to have lunch together and Reynie feels guilty about not being honest with S.Q. and overthinks everything, he unconsciously or consciously doesn't tell anyone about his friendship with S.Q.
