Stiles bobs up and looks around his room with a confused look.
He can’t tell if something was different. It doesn’t look like it. He has the urge to turn his laptop on and search for the words the witch had said, but maybe he should just go to school. Maybe Scott can tell him what happened.
Except there is no Scott at school. However, somebody is there.Or where the pack messes with a witch and Stiles gets thrown into some weird alternate universe where he finds him and a teenage Derek Hale.

Notes: Pitch perfect and visceral rendering of the way their friendship and relationship develops, especially during Season 2. I live to see the behind the scenes moments, and this filled in so many gaps—especially with some of Blaine’s more unusual or questionable decisions S2-5 (even though this story didn’t really get that far, or diverged from canon, it still got Blaine’s character so right that it explained future hurts all the same). This is heavy on the blangst and the Hummel-Hudson family dynamic which, when done well (as well as it’s done here!), can be such a beautiful and heartbreaking juxtaposition. This story makes it so easy to understand and feel the way Kurt and Blaine love each other. A delight. [Last Read: 3/22]
