Summary
Set after the Sentinel of Lights event, with a bit of canon divergence - no Thresh, no bound Viego, no player self-insert Rookie and all of the Sentinels remain. When Isolde turns down Viego's offer of a new life on his side and lets him know she is content to rest in peace, the Ruined King contemplates laying down his sword and joining his queen in the afterlife. And what better way to carry out his plan than to burst into the Sentinels' headquarters for a quick death? Except, the only one home is Akshan. And the marksman is utterly uninterested in killing him.

Except, despite waiting for quite a while, that shot was never fired.
Narrowing his eyes, he looked up at the marksman. Akshan met his gaze with a pondering look on his face, before smiling and without missing a beat, sheathing the Absolver back into its holster on his hip. Straightening his legs, he climbed off of the very still Ruined King sprawled out on the floor.
“I only kill to revive someone, personal revenge and for the greater good. Right now, I don’t think you are a threat to anyone but yourself, loverboy. So, my answer is: nope! I’m not going to shoot you.”

Summary
As Viego's influence grows and the mist seemingly swallows up Runeterra's regions one after the other, the Sentinels of Light are placed in the back foot in their search for the parts of Isolde's soul. After their first and unsuccessful excursion to Mt Targon where they are faced with the Ruined Aspect of War and find an unlikely ally in the face of the Aspect of the Moon, they decide to brave the climb a second time, at the Moon Aspect's behest, in search for, hopefully, one more ally.
