He tries not to think too much about the strange console in the mansion basement, or the fact that his friends just don't have time to meet up for ice cream anymore.But the echoes of stories carry on even after the heroes have left the stage, and forgotten things may grow and twist unseen.

Summary
Roxas and Ansem the Wise’s first conversation after Roxas got his new body had gone even worse than either of them could have thought. The scientist apologized to the boy he had enslaved in data, and Roxas barely held back the urge to punch him across the face. However, one thing did come out of this conversation. Ansem the Wise gave him the ability to go see his old data friends again. That could make up for any bad apology Ansem the Wise could give him. He could finally end his summer vacation for good.
