After Aqua accidentally used the Power of Waking one too many times to find Sora, the universe of Kingdom Hearts is glitching like a Nomura plot diagram. Worlds and characters are missing, lore is leaking, and a shady Disney executive named Jacqueline Cross (Gillian Anderson, obviously) has called in Deadpool to clean up the mess—or at least sweep it under the corporate rug...
Tetsuya Nomura himself is missing, potentially trapped in the Realm of Cancellation alongside every half-baked Disney and Square Enix pitch. Deadpool’s mission? Find Aqua, fix the multiverse, or at least prevent Kingdom Hearts IV from becoming the next cancelled idea.
But corporate greed and shady departments might not have the final say. Maybe being broken isn’t so bad after all. Sometimes the cracks let in the light—and the fourth-wall-breaking mercs.

Every glance, every tilt of Axel’s mouth, every lean forward—it’s all stitched together by the quiet, invisible thread of money. Without it, there would be no Axel. Roxas wishes he could believe it. Wishes he could let himself sink into the fantasy without that cold, stubborn truth pressing against his ribs. Wishes he could be the kind of person someone looks at like that, without a transaction in between. To be wanted—not for the price—just for the ordinary miracle of being him. He swallows more wine, lets the burn linger, and pretends the heat in Axel’s gaze belongs to him alone.
