Secondly, it was raining so profoundly that Jayce looked like a drowned rat even with an umbrella, making his outfit stick to his skin in possibly the most uncomfortable way possible, his hair completely and utterly messed up now.
And last but certainly not least, he had gotten little to no sleep trying to finish yet another assignment, and hadn't had the time to get coffee.
He was certain that he was being played for a fool by some higher authority and it was getting old.
OR
An Arcane modern AU with JayVik, where Jayce falls first, but Viktor falls harder, but with a bit of bad luck, tears, and corny, mushy couple stuff stirred into the mix.
