What follows is a desperate fight for survival as Randy uses a tire iron to battle the masked killer, reversing the garage door and pulling Tatum free. When the killer corners them, Tatum stabs him with his own knife. They escape to the kitchen and call 911, both bleeding and traumatized but alive. For once, the movie geek rewrote the ending.
