Summary
Commander Graham Gore is snatched from his doomed Arctic expedition in 1847, his captors present-day government agents taking him through time to the 21st century where he is expected to assimilate—and survive. They have assigned him to live with an unmarried woman who is to be his “bridge”. They have dubbed him expat "1847".
As he adapts to his new world, Gore soon discovers that not all is what it seems with the time travel “project”, and that there is no handbook on how to deal with falling in love with a woman born 145 years into the future…
[This fic follows the events from The Ministry of Time written from Graham’s POV with added scenes I’ve expanded on from the Narrator’s mentions, or taken some creative liberties with. Contains obvious spoilers from the novel, as well as some outdated terminology in keeping with the book/our Victorian hero].

Summary
"A tableau of arctic magnificence now hung before him framed by bright lines from the timegun. It looked for all the world like a page, ripped from the memoirs of Sir John Ross, pasted against the sky. It was a familiar scene to him as any other. An image of ice, moonlight and Englishmen, all still some distance away. The men! His aim must've been far off at all. For there they stood, real as anything, in slops and welshwigs, stunned still as statues by Graham’s sudden appearance."
In which Graham Gore gets his hands on the timegun. It's a crossover that's barely a crossover because it's all basically canon!
