Summary
"This is Kol-El, or Cole. He's a clone"
Okay, maybe Tim was much closer to insanity than he first thought.
"You cloned Kon?"
"I'm my own person by the way" came the dry answer of one Col-El, who did look remarkably like the images Tim had seen of Kon.
Wheels turning rapidly, he looked back at the regretful and overtired figure of Timothy.
Discreetly, in a way he hoped Col-El didn’t see, he gestured to the clone. Mouthing, "You need him?" and Timothy just groaned.
or; TimKon without Kon is just Tim, and that just won't do. Tim is gonna fix that.

Summary
Tim is not any kind of a doctor, and definitely is not a geneticist or an engineer or even a stressed-out intern. Or any kind of specialist in any related fields, either. And it took all of those things and then some to build Kon.
But if Tim was any of those things, he’d only be one of those things, and he wouldn’t be having any luck right now, now would he.

Summary
It had to work, it had to. He'd lost so much, he just wanted him back. But no matter what he tried, he couldn't make it work.
So he tried something new only to realise what he'd done after the fact. No one would understand or accept what he'd done. He would not let them take his son from him.
When Robin vanished between Titans Tower and the Batcave a search broke out world wide but all they ever found was an emblemless uniform and a short message for Batman. Someone had taken Robin, but who and why? After Bruce's death, the search all but stopped as the community struggled to get back on their feet. But fresh from the future, one person refused to believe that Tim was probably dead.

Summary
What many don’t realize when they look at Kon, is that he’s really, really smart. Hell, he’s half Lex Luthor, it was practically a given.
Now, when you take that intellect and mix it with Clark Kent’s uncanny ability to fake an entire personality for hours on end, what do you get? Conner Kent, resident himbo, pleased to meet you.
Except, where Clark fakes his innocent reporter act, Kon fakes a careless jock high-schooler, who’s maybe a tad too rebellious.
Then he meets a Robin, and like recognizes like. They’re one and the same and they work best as a duo (couple, team, whatever)
Tim gets that too, which is probably why he tried to clone Kon 99 times! And Kon? He really, really likes that.
Or:
In which Kon is way smarter than he lets on, really likes mad scientist Tim, and it changes surprisingly little -

Summary
Couples therapy. To Dick’s amazement, Slade had agreed without a single protest.
The therapy sessions themselves went extremely well. They’d gotten set up with a Justice League-affiliated therapist that wouldn’t psychoanalyze and tell regarding Deathstroke and Nightwing’s relationship, and that gave them the freedom to be transparent with their…unique relationship problems and situation. The main revelation in these sessions was that both Dick and Slade kept anxieties about their relationship to themselves, and they tended to let them fester instead of talking about it. Their therapist suggested that there needed to be a conscious effort to actually voice these anxieties (no matter how silly they felt) before they caused problems within the relationship.
Simple enough. Dick could certainly do that. So could Slade.
Dick just didn’t expect Slade’s insecurities about their relationship to be…like this.
“What if you started killing people, and you decided you didn’t need me anymore?”
“Excuse me?”
Or: 5 times Slade expressed an insecurity that felt a little silly, and the one time he had a valid concern.

Summary
Now, it was just him. Him, but not even him that was Timothy Drake-Wayne. Not him that was Robin—Red or otherwise. Him that was someone else entirely: Thomas Connell, who gave up the city life to live in suburban Canada and take care of his young son.
Thomas Connell couldn't pull out Tim Wayne's black card, couldn't call Tim Wayne's big brother for help. Tom Connell couldn't do much of anything.
