No one likes the Joker. It’s just a fact.
The sky is blue, the grass is green, no one likes the Joker.
When you’re a group of vigilantes, many of whom have been personally hurt by the Joker, this hatred runs even deeper.
It makes fighting the guy inconvenient.
In the end, when they do have to fight Joker, they’re left with only four people against Gotham’s greatest and most insane enemy.

Tim, who to no one else’s knowledge, has his own issues with the Joker.

JJ came from the Joker and Reid came when he needed someone to protect him while he dealt with his trauma. But he knew if he told someone about them he would be fired, which is why he kept it a secret. Now it has been almost 5 years since he has had JJ and Reid with him. But then he got shot with a spell which made JJ and Reid into more permanent mind-mates who have become their own people just inside his mind.
And yet he has not told anyone. Until one of them slipped up.

Bruce stared at Dr. Leland from the chair across from her desk, positively flabbergasted. RR? Dr. Leland already knew about Tim’s third alter—and she hadn’t told him?
“You– You know who they are?” he asked, mouth open in shock and eyes wide like a deer in headlights—or a bat in headlights.
“Well, I’ve never spoken to him,” she said, nonchalantly flipping through some files that likely had nothing to do with their topic of conversation. “But JJ talks about him a lot. I think he views him a bit like an older brother. He talks about him that way, at least.”

It took Tim a while to realize that his time with Joker stuck with him in more ways than one.
Of course, there was the obvious. The scars on his cheeks, the green hair, the chemically dyed skin. Those were things that everyone noticed. The things that Tim could tell everyone tried not to stare at.
Then there were more subtle things. The days where Tim didn’t feel like Tim. The days where he swore there was a voice in his head that sounded just like Joker Junior.
He tried to ignore it for a while. Told himself it was just the remnants of the psychological trauma induced by his time with the Joker.
But the voice didn’t go away, and the longer Tim tried to ignore it, the crazier he felt.
