"This is kind of random,” at the sound of his voice, Jinx’s eyes flicker up at him, “but do you want kids?"
At his unexpected question, she abruptly sits up straight, looking at him in bewilderment while she can hear the Windows error sound play on repeat in her head as she tries to formulate a response. Ekko continues to play with her hair, patiently waiting for her answer.
"I have twenty-two cents on my bank account and a Dorito chip in my pocket," is what she ends up blurting, brain still empty
They've been together for a year now, which is the longest Jinx has ever been in a relationship. Still, she wasn't prepared for Ekko to start talking about their possible future.

“Okay?” Vi confusedly asks, taking a seat on the edge of Jinx’s bed.
“With Ekko.”
“Oh,” Vi smiles at her, which is definitely not the reaction Jinx needs right now, “congrats. I’m sure you’re going to have fun.”
Jinx groans again, pulling at her braids in annoyance.
For reasons that were definitely beyond her control, Jinx ended up agreeing to go on a "practice date" with her lifelong friend Ekko.

Jinx uses her free hand to grab the flask out of the hand Ekko's gripping and takes a satisfying gulp. A noise of disapproval comes from Ekko as liquor burns her throat, and Jinx bats her eyes innocently.
"I'll talk to Talis. Fine. But on one condition: you have to fuck me."
And just like that, Ekko's face is "impassive" once more. Jinx considered how brash and stupid her request was. Considered. But she needs something to brag about to Lux, who regarded her with shiny puppy-dog eyes when she nonchalantly mentioned she'd been celibate for around eleven months. Like they were mutually bitchless or something. Ugh.
Then a smile pulls at Ekko's lips, the barest of chuckles emanating from his mouth before he looks at her appraisingly. "You know, for someone so unpredictable, you're plenty predictable."
Jinx's sister's wedding is probably the worst major event of her life in recent memory, but at least she'll always have bourbon. And Ekko, who you can always count on to make things worse. If only he weren't so sexy while doing it.

What if after Jinx makes it out of the hexgate tower, she decides to go visit the friend that saved her life?If you rewatch Ep. 9 you can see a purple streak (Jinx) making it out before the explosion and Caitlyn holding the monkey head while looking at the air ducts for the place practically prove that she is alive. So I took that info and RAN with it. Timebomb will be cannon in my heart and here.
