My brother's music blared over our little gym while he played his private concert for Morpeko and I. Don’t ask me how he got all of Team Yell out of here, as if there’s anywhere else to hang out in Spikemuth. Not like they won’t do anything and everything Piers says though. I closed my eyes while the song went in, crazy how his rock is like a lullaby to be now.
Once the song was over, he made his way over to where I sat against the fence, settling down next to me. Once he was beside me, I moved closer, leaning my head on my older brother's shoulder, despite his slightly uncomfortable shirt fabric pressing against me. As absolutely excited I am to start my journey to the championship, I admit I will miss Piers. And as much as I know he’ll miss me, he would never let me stay if I tried to. He loves me too much to let me give up my journey to stay with him.
