This is a story of love in the wrong place and at the wrong time.

Summary
Regulus Black was raised to be a perfect heir, a perfect son, a perfect name — and he was. But between politics, blood, discovery and betrayal, even stars begin to flicker. This is the story of how one boy burned quietly — and tried, in his own way, to matter.
OR
embarrassingly long fic (will be when finished) about a genius brat Regulus Black, from the summer before Hogwarts to when he enters the cave
When this is done I'll do a continuation of this where he sort of redeems himself?
Also it's my first fic on here so bare with me🧍🏻
I'm doind my best to write but as this isn't getting much engagement, motivation is a bit hard to find

Summary
The war of light and dark, good and evil, had not ended with Lord Voldemort’s defeat and the death of their saviour. It continued and became much more dangerous and bloody, forcing witches and wizards into further secrecy– masking their faces. Nobody really knew what people looked like after a while; old photos were kept secret or just burned.
Born in this world, Dorian never questioned this strange tradition. People did open up sometimes, but his father had forbidden him from ever doing that. He never opposed it, knowing what a dangerous man he was.
As he grew older and became more and more involved in his father, Lord Voldemort’s affairs, Dorian was put into impossible places and made to question several of his beliefs. When the truth came to light– it does not matter what happened afterwards - only that it did.

Summary
"No," she ground out through clenched teeth. "I do not accept this."
The air pulsed, bending faintly around her, magic tasting metallic on her tongue.
She wound the chain around her fingers once, then again, tighter, until it cut into her skin. "If I can just kill the snake," she whispered, half to herself, half to the ghosts still watching. "Then maybe—"
The forest shuddered. Wind tore through the trees. The hourglass flared blood-red as she twisted it once. Twice. Three times.
The world snapped like a thread, and the smoke-filled night bled into nothing.Everyone Hermione loves is dead.
With nothing left but a cursed Time-Turner and a very bad idea, she rewinds time to change a single moment—only to land decades too far.
Now she’s trapped in a version of Hogwarts that still believes in innocence, staring down the boy who will become Voldemort.
She has a plan. Sort of.But her plan unravels the moment the new Potions Master arrives, a man with silver eyes and a very different agenda: kill Riddle before he ever draws a wand.
Murder plots, moral debates, and 1930s manners ensue.
History should probably be afraid.

Summary
Each year, for the long hush of a month and more, Regulus vanishes into the sun.
Astronomers call it the solar conjunction. It happens because the star rests almost upon the ecliptic, the path the sun traces across the sky. In that inevitable crossing, sunlight overwhelms its glow, and to us it seems as though regulus has disappeared.
But it never lasts. By the laws of celestial mechanics, this phenomenon is only a hush of brilliance, before the star rises once more to tear open the dawn.

Summary
"You know how this works, Sirius. You always ask me to stay, and I always leave."
"There was a merciless beauty in the way they still orbited one another — like shattered stars, bound by invisible threads, still whole in what once united them, yet broken by all they had lost. So deeply scarred by the past and by each other that their closeness felt like both redemption and damnation."
[SPOILER FROM ACT I OF SCARIUS]
After escaping from Azkaban, Scarlett and Sirius set out to hunt down Peter Pettigrew, determined to make him pay for his betrayal and for framing Sirius. At the same time, they’ll be forced to confront their own wounds and unresolved issues from the past.
Meanwhile, Harry Potter and Regulus Black have no idea their lives are about to be turned upside down by Sirius’s escape. Will they manage to prove his innocence? Will they ever become a family?
Back in the past, Scarlett struggles with the loss of her family while Sirius burdens himself with the weight of shielding her from the chaos. The tides of war are rising as their final year at Hogwarts begins, bringing with it some nasty surprises that will test loyalties and reveal who they truly are.

Summary
“Are you here for a reason Lupin? I happen to be quite busy, no time for childish antics.”
“I can see that, studying for your O.W.Ls, right?
“Yes.” Regulus hissed.
“I don’t remember horcruxes being on my O.W.Ls, is there a new curriculum? I hadn’t heard.” Lupin said in an awfully insinuating tone. It was odd for Lupin to bring up horcruxes in specific, why not another one of the many pieces of magic in the book.Canon divergent set in 1977-1979 following Remus and Regulus in the early days of the war. Remus is sent to investigate the werewolves starting in sixth year rather than seventh and Regulus ends up taking the dark-mark early after hearing something particularly interesting from Slughorn. With the changes and challenges these two events lead to, the pair ends up working together to discover the inner workings of Voldemort's plans and form an odd partnership in hopes to thwart it.

Summary
And the thing was, James knew Lily Evans. Against his will, of course, but he did know her.
That happened to a person when they lived with someone, shared meals and classes and even some friends. James’s feelings toward Lily were lukewarm at best. Sure, she was fun to wind up, and he didn’t mind a bout of banter every now and again, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t bloody annoying. James wasn’t sure how she did it, but she always managed to be half a step ahead of him. Every time he pulled ahead in lessons, she’d swoop in with some “brilliant” analysis, precisely engineered to contradict whatever point he’d been making. She was friends with Snivellus, which was a personality flaw if he’d ever seen one, and also probably evidence of a brain worm.
But as annoying as she was, James had to give it to the girl: She was no liar.
At least, he didn’t think she was.
OR: Pride, prejudice, & punk rock. (Mostly) canon compliant. Marauders years 5-7.

Summary
Sirius didn't want to be Sorted into Gryffindor. He was heir of the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, destined to uphold the supremacy of pureblooded wizardkind. Gryffindor was a teeming embarrassment of Mudbloods and blood-traitors. But he makes the best of his nightmarish situation--and in doing so, makes new friends who lead him to question everything he was taught to believe.
This is the first work of an expected canon-compliant series following Sirius's life from age 11 to the end, mostly from Sirius's POV. Updates weekly on Wednesdays. Gratitude and credit to WingFeathers, missrizu, and my writers' group for the brainstorming, collaboration, and beta-reading!
Disclaimer: I do not support and am disgusted with JKR's transphobic views and activism. In this work, Wizarding society carries deep prejudices on blood purity, but is and has always been trans-, queer-, racially, and ethnically inclusive.

Summary
For months, Sirius has been opening the door whenever Snivellus has knocked, and he doesn't know why. He hates it. Hates him. He tells himself that any warm body in his bed is better than a night alone, even if there's really only one person he's ever wanted to spend the nights with. Determined to end it, he tells Snape to stop coming around. Determined to keep it going, Snape offers secrets from the other side to "pay" for Sirius's services.
Some moments just aren't making sense to Sirius. Most notably, why is it that he's incapable of saying no? And what happens when he ends up on Remus's doorstep one evening after a particularly brutal encounter?
And can Regulus really help them end the war?
