Summary
They stare at each other. Ganon's form constantly shifts and undulates; his hatred and malice unable to keep a consist shape as they are hell bent on spreading to every corner of Eijirou's kingdom. Now that Eijirou is here, face to face with hatred incarnate, he feels that his fears are nearly erased. Ganon is a powerful monster, but he would not defeat Eijirou—he refuses to ever allow such a possibility to become reality. Too many of his people's lives have already been lost, Eijirou would not let Ganon take more. Not even if it is a single life. He has no desire to die, his life is too short-lived with too few good moments, but if his life is all it takes to permanently seal Ganon away then so be it. Eijirou will not trade his people's lives for peace but he will certainly wager his own.
Ganon lets out an ear-piercing screech and charges towards Eijirou. He is mere feet away when Eijirou holds out his hand towards Ganon and unleashes his power, instantly trapping them both in the prison of Eijirou's creation.

Centuries ago, The Demon King Grothfral opened rifts and created demon strongholds, pouring monster armies that nearly wiped out The Realm. Facing imminent extinction, humans, elves and dwarves forged a desperate alliance and defeated Grothfral, sealing the rifts and burying his strongholds with the power of the Dryads and Divines.
The world was scarred: kingdoms battered, coffers emptied and riots raised. But as the initial chaos subsided and order gradually returned, the very citadels and dungeons that threatened The Realm has now became valuable sources of alchemic ingredients, rare metals, and artifacts.
Yet war-shattered armies couldn't garrison every ruin. Thus, a lucrative Realm-wide Decreed was made.

Link and Zelda survive the first wave of guardians and monsters but with Calamity Ganon laying waste to Hyrule, the champions dead, and their allies trying to defend their respective lands the hero and the princess are left on their own. But they aren’t entirely alone, an old friend of a previous hero awakes to aid them.
