With his mostly nice coworkers it seems like it'll be a walk in the park. However, the street racer collective, Port Motors, and the nearby convince store, Depanneur of Angels, seem to have other plans.
Between an irritating rival, a mysterious coworker, and sabotage, Atsushi has his hands full.

He doesn’t know what possesses him to say it. Maybe the wine, or the fever of being seen again. Maybe something far older than either.
“I could paint this,” Dazai murmurs, eyes tracing the way the light halos Chuuya’s hair. “This exact scene. The lamps, the colors, you looking away as though you belong to no one.”
Silence folds over the table. His pulse quickens, every instinct screaming *idiot*.
Chuuya turns, the faintest crease in his brow; surprise, not offense. Then, a ghost of a smile, so slight it almost hurts.
“Well,” he says quietly, tilting his glass, “I wouldn’t mind being painted by the great Dazai Osamu once in a while.”
Dazai laughs. “Ah, but you’d regret it. I ruin my muses. One way or another.”
“Then, you’d have to catch me first.”

Chuuya cuts off, eyes coming up to meet with the person he’d bumped into.
He’s tall, shaggy brown hair floating over majestic chocolate eyes. His face was painted with slight shock, his expression twisting into a small smirk. He wore a baggy shirt with a recognizable rock band on the front. But the most noticeable feature were the white bandages that wound their way down his arms and up his neck.
But Chuuya isn’t particularly focused on the stranger's clothes or features, his words dying in the back of his throat as he stares into his eyes. A soft blush paints over the redhead's face, and his breath hitches as the lanky guy steps back.
“Sorry, didn’t see ya’! You must be Chuuya, right? Yosano talked a shit ton about you- I’m Dazai.”

A college AU where Chuuya is hosting a party at he and Tachihara's apartment. He's introduced to a friend of a friend, spending the start of his evening arguing with the newly met Dazai, before someone suggests a part game and things suddenly grow a bit more heated.
Chuuya realizes he may be more into Dazai than he originally thought.

As they are trying to escape from a mission gone wrong (thanks, Dazai-san), Atsushi and Akutagawa enter one of Poe's novel's - written for Ranpo to escape dangerous situations like the one they are in. Atsushi is sure as soon as they solve the mystery in the book, they will be home free.
Except now, they solved the mystery, but are still stuck in a giftless universe where they work normal person jobs, and even worse, are dating.
To actually escape the book, they'll have to answer a different question - how long will it take the two stubborn boys to admit that they just might have feelings for one another?
An enemies-to-lovers, novel AU where they might not hate each other as much as they think they do.
