Summary
Bdubs lay on his floor, breathing slowly. It had been a nice day. The clouds were out so the sun wasn’t quite so bright, his new redstone contraption was finally functioning, and he was going to meet up with Tango and Keralis later to discuss business.
But if the day was so nice, why did he feel so bad? He knew why. Of course he knew why. Keralis. He hadn’t meant to do it, but he still did. He had invited him to go to a church holiday party. Sure, it was at a church, and Bdubs didn’t have the best relationship with religion, but it was just a party, not a sermon. Surely nothing could go wrong.
*this was supposed to be just a religious projection fic, but I decided to continue it and now it's something that's actually kinda good, not to pat myself on the back too much. This is a disclamer for if the first chapter is a bit disjointed, I was using what I'd like to call 'method writing.'

Impulse sat by the lake, moving his feet slowly through the water. He had come out to have a party with the other hermits, something Grian had set up for… some reason that he couldn't quite remember.
Most of the other hermits had cleared out by now though, as the party had been over for at least half an hour. Looking out at the waterfall flowing quickly into the lake, Impulse let himself breathe.
The exterior of his factory was complete, and he had nothing to worry about. Except, potentially, for the yelling coming from the clifftop that the waterfall flowed over. That could be a problem.
Aka- Bdubs gets pushed into a lake and nearly drowns. Luckily, Impulse is there to help.
