Summary
"Todd, have you seen my fedora? I left it here over... Christmas..." It's not until Charlie is halfway through his sentence that he notices that Todd is already asleep. In Neil's bed.
Charlie looks around the room and sees that Todd has already unpacked his suitcase and set everything where he likes it on the left side of the room. The blinds are drawn and the overhead lights are off, making the only source of light a small lamp next to Todd's untouched bed. He's sleeping on the right.
In Neil's bed.

Summary
“Tomorrow is the first chapter of the rest of your life,” Keating read the saying on the wall.
“I thought the quote was ‘first day’?”
“Yes, but they wanted it to be more fitting for a bookstore.”
Charlie looked at the saying again, taking in its meaning. Maybe that’s what he needed, a new first chapter. He smiled bitterly at the idea, and how painful it sounded to even imagine a chapter in his life without Neil in it. But he knew he would manage. If they needed him to, he would.
“I’ll do fine,” he thought, trying to believe his own words, “After all, I am The Charlie Dalton.”

Summary
Charlie has spent an entire childhood being handed everything he ever asked for with a simple request or complaint. But recently, he's been wanting things that can't be bought, that he can't summon with a snap of his fingers, that can't be returned once it's gone. When the world doesn't fall perfectly into his hands, he doesn't really know what to do with himself. That's been happening a lot lately.

Charlie and Todd's relationship takes an interesting turn after Charlie returns to Welton from his suspension. Whether it's for the better or worse is up to them.
