Ayyy! Welcome to my short story storage (try saying that five times fast)!
This is basically different stories from my Undertale multiverse that are too short for their own stories (or beginnings of those) but deserve to be written, including stories such as Ink turning into a baby, Dust revealing his long-kept secrets, and Shattered Dream taking control of Nightmare's gang! (Yeah, sure, just list the first three stories, way to go, author -_-)

Summary
Its been at least 500 years since Nightmare trapped his brother in stone. At least, that's what he guesses. It makes sense that Dream hasn't aged a day under the stasis spell.

An AU in which when Dream gets out of stone, he is still a child. Nightmare is (mostly) sane, and has a family to call his own, but when Dream makes his way back into his life he can't help but try to give Dream the childhood the apple incident stole from them.

As Journals sit on shelves, Karl looks in despair. When he reads things he doesn't remember writing, his mind goes blank, and tears fall over his once before rosy cheeks, now drained of colour. Quackity help's him as much as he can, Alex never seen him like this before. He just sits on his bed everyday, looking at the bookshelf outside his door, thinking about what he had, what he lost, and what he can't remember.
He can only see him in his dreams, he says, he whispers things to himself often. Karl forced himself to never go back, it will fuck everything up all over again if he did. Reality is in his present, and love is in the past, he doesn't know where he lost himself, or if he will ever find himself again. He knew it happened for a reason.

Kimora wakes up with a start, eyes blinking slowly as she sees gray paws. Slowly she starts to look up, breath catching in her throat as she starts to recognize what she was seeing.
A bipedal monster covered from head to toe with flint gray fur with tall cat-like ears accompanied by a long slender tail, orange eyes with a face of a mountain lion, with sharp thin fangs that protrude out of its top lip as it starts to open its maw.
It was at that moment that Kimora remembered the scary bedtime stories her mother used to tell her when she was a child. That if you were a bad kid the monsters from the forest would come over the village in the middle of the night and drag you into the woods. And no matter how much you screamed, no matter how much you struggled, the monster's magic made it so that no one could hear you. And then when the monster goes past the village's borders they would devour the naughty children alive.
Suddenly she felt like a kid again as she could hear her heart thundering loudly in her ears as she sat frozen on the ground.
Midnight claws flash in front of her face, ones that can easily tear through flesh.
The monster has come for the naughty child.
And that child was me.

LV makes it easier to distance yourself. It is why the kids, Flowey and Frisk both, have been such megalomaniacs during their Genocide Runs; they had gotten a taste of power, and they just had to have more. It is supposed to be addictive. Thrilling. It is supposed to give you a surge of incredible power. But now that you have done it, now that you have both EXP and LV, now that you have killed someone, you only feel numb. It is like you have been plunged into darkness, similar to the vast nothingness of the Void. It is not an unfamiliar feeling, actually. For all extents and purposes, this is actually quite similar to how it has felt every time you have died before. Right now, though, you’ve never felt more alive.
How needlessly ironic.
