It’s a Sunday, and usually, Mu Qing would be using the time to relax before his classes the next day, but Shi Qingxuan had invited him out to an informal brunch, telling Mu Qing he had a possible solution to Mu Qing’s housing crisis. It wasn’t exactly a crisis, he was living in the dorms, but the university was threatening to give him a new roommate —after his last one took one look at Mu Qing and bailed on him — or have him find other housing if he didn’t want a roommate. The only problem was that all the suit style and one-person dorms were filled this late in the semester, and Mu Qing wasn’t too excited to pay extra rent in one of the shitty apartment buildings that were closest to campus.
Or, Mu Qing needs an apartment, and his best offer is only available if he comes with a roommate. So he's forced to ask Feng Xin, his worst rival, and the one person he's had a crush on for nearly his entire life. And, to make things worse for Mu Qing, he has to pretend like he's dating Feng Xin.
