He sits up a bit, when Gon does, “no, it’s okay. We can continue.” Killua is not going to beg, as desperate as he is to please his lover he’s not that weak. “I want to keep going,” he insists as much as his insides are failing to recover from the intrusion. His ribs still feel too tight, like there’s knots around them not allowing any expansion of his chest.
“I know when you’re lying,” he stays patient, even as Killua gets dumber with desperation. He can’t help himself, not when Gon asked one goddamn thing of him and he can’t even do it. He was so excited, been working up to it over the last couple months. Regular make out sessions turning more and more heated, succeeding in building the anticipation for them both. He listened to all of Gon’s ramblings about safety and consent and all that bullshit he thinks is real. As if Killua wouldn’t let him just take what he wanted if it came down to it. They both know it’s what he deserves, after all.
Gon has saved him again and again, never so much as needing a thank you. How could Killua be so selfish as to deny him this one indulgence?

But a last-minute road trip should help fix at least a few of those problems as they take comfort in the fact that, while some things do change, others absolutely stay the same when you have a bond like theirs.

Except now she’s not calling, she’s in his hotel room writing on his arm cast (no, he doesn’t remember how he broke it) and demanding to join him and his band for their cross-country tour. He can’t send her home for obvious reasons. He needs someone to keep an eye on her, or more accurately, keep her eyes off the disaster that is his life.
And when his band manager Bisky says she knows the perfect person he thinks that maybe, he’s finally got lucky, and maybe it will all be fine.
