At Camp Half-Blood, no one recognizes them, yet everyone seems to know too much.
Fragments of past lives begin to surface: forgotten loves, betrayals, and secrets that were never meant to survive time. And with them, an ancient prophecy rises from the ashes, as time bends to collect what was once promised:

Harry sat up then, looking down at Louis with a glint of something in his eyes.
“Let’s make a promise,”
Louis cocked his head.
“Of what?”
Harry smirked at him.
“Let’s promise not to change.”
And Harry didn’t need to explain any further. Louis didn’t understand it, not really, at the time. Because it’d been hardly a week of the lot of them even knowing one another really, and they hardly knew anything about well… Anything, yet. But Louis knew there was something in it. And to be an arse, he raised his pinky.
“No changing,” Louis said. Harry dimpled then, wrapping his pinky around Louis’.
“No changing.”
It was a first of many of their own little personal promises to one another. And the first promise the both of them had broken.

“I suppose I'm just nervous.” Growing up, he'd been encouraged to be truthful. Not that much encouragement was needed–he'd been honest to the point it was a fault. Even so, that changed as soon as his mother decided he was meant for bigger things. She'd swiftly changed her tune–Soobin-ah, if you need to lie, the best way to do so is with a partial truth. Choi Soobin is not cold, nor is he nervous. He is terrified.
