Summary
Legend had a sneaking suspicion that there was something off about his and Hyrule’s timeline. Something rather life-altering - literally. It was driving him insane. He needed to get to the bottom of it.
Or the Downfall Timeline has its heroes die, but come back to life every time. This leads to some issues.

Summary
Legend looked at the small island and winced. There would be no escaping the sound of the waves or the call of the gulls. There would be no forfeiting the sand for grass or sunshine for clouds. The palms swayed in the breeze and Legend wished they were apple trees more than anything. He prayed there were no hibiscuses on this island. The flowers always seemed to break through his defenses. This was not the rest he had been hoping for when stepping through that portal.
Legend doesn't take to being stuck on an island too well. Luckily he gets some help from his brothers.
Just shove some more trauma into the man, no biggie.

He couldn’t recall the flavor of life not tainted by his curse. He shouldered the weight of his burden without complaint, hid his heart beneath sarcasm, and stumbled words. He’d struggle and claw his way to the next day even when he couldn’t see the reason.
