Shen Qingqiu himself had only managed it with his shizun’s assistance, soft-hearted fool that he was. Even now, he works at concealing his more noticeable traits, intent on remaining by his Qi-ge’s side, even as his nature balks at the cowardice behind his actions.
“Him. I want him.” Cold eyes glance at the boy over the edge of his fan, as a cold smile grows behind it, displaying sharp, vicious fangs.
He is not his shizun. But who better to raise a little demonic beast?

“Uh, my bad I didn’t know I was interrupting,“ Shang Qinghua stuttered out, which snapped Shen Yuan out of his horrified stupor. He scrambled off of Liu Qingge, not noticing the flash of disappointment that crossed his shidi’s face.
He turned to the War God and opened his mouth to say something but shut it immediately after. The alpha’s eyes were still dark and intent but Liu Qingge was coherent so that meant his job was done right? So that meant all was well and they could leave!
This was all for medical purposes!
Ha ha ha this was absolutely only to help his shidi out!

“I swear to god if this fucked up AU has me become the sect cow, I’m going to burn this place to the ground then take my children to a land far away and raise them to be potato farmers,” Shen Qingqiu scowled.

He didn’t stop thinking about it while bidding Binghe goodnight.
He didn’t stop thinking about it while getting dressed for bed.
In fact, he still couldn’t stop thinking about it while lying in his distressingly empty nest.

Luo Binghe knows he shouldn't be anywhere around here. He didn't mean it. He didn't know and if he knew he certainly wouldn't have come.
He didn't mean to hear anything and if he came out of his way to snoop around his master's home after it, he just had the best of intentions. What if Shizun was in danger? He didn't mean to peep and he certainly didn't mean to hide after as well. He just didn't want to disturb his Shizun... and the Sect Leader.
To be fair, maybe he should have disturbed them. Shizun would have a good excuse to kick that man out. Binghe is just a lowly one to tell anything about his elders, but, if he could be honest, he would say it didn't look like Shizun was having any fun at all.
Luo Binghe would certainly be doing a better job.
