Our story begins with Nisha, a Calishite smuggler belonging to a criminal family deep within the heart of Calimport. Setting off to break away from the family business of smuggling, relic hunting, spycraft, and murder for hire by magical means, our sorceress is looking to make a name for herself. Her first stop? The sprawling metropolis of Baldur's Gate and her family contacts within the Guild. Hoping to forge new connections and a network of her own after a failed marriage, our heroine falls into the hands of the mindflayers attacking the city. Through these adventures she meets a vampire spawn with enough sarcasm to melt the faces of even the worst of Calishite merchant princes. Abrasive, sassy, pragmatic and a mind for no nonsense our heroine sets out with a band of companions and tries to keep the vampire at arms length, while staying alive and doing some good in the process. Steamy nights, flirting, and harsh honesty lie for the lovers as danger thrusts them towards hard lessons, and spilt blood in the name of revenge while finding love along the way. -
