Just a take on how I think a future conversation specifically between Mari and Barcode would go, this takes the route of Maro either being unsuccessful or gave up on her plan of killing everyone with them.
So now they're cornering Barcode and stepping up for themselves for once instead of cowering.

An extremely dubious Shachi and Penguin are forced to play along with this new turn of events, as the Heart Pirates integrate into the Donquixotes as the new 'Corazon Army'.
